About Us
Welcome to The Evelyn Balash Foundation, a beacon of hope and support for families navigating the challenging world of childhood cancer. Our story began with a personal battle when our daughter, Evelyn, was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the tender age of 2.5 on February 15th, 2023. We quickly realized the gaps in support systems for families like ours and felt a profound calling to make a difference.

Established on April 27th, 2025, coinciding with Evelyn's End of Treatment (EOT) date, The Evelyn Balash Foundation strives to fill those gaps. Our mission is clear and heartfelt—to fund critical research, raise awareness about childhood cancer, and provide comprehensive support to families both during and after treatment. We believe that the cancer battle doesn't end with treatment, which is why our commitment extends beyond, ensuring families have the resources they need to thrive in the aftermath.

Research Funding:*We are dedicated to advancing pediatric cancer research with a focus on innovative treatments, advocating for more than the 4% currently allocated by government budgets.

Awareness Campaigns: Through educational outreach, we aim to increase public understanding of childhood cancer and its impact on families.
